What is included in the Coach Cruise & Helicopter flight with Glacier Southern Lakes?
The package includes a scenic coach ride to Milford Sound, a nature cruise through the fiord, and a return flight to Queenstown with an alpine landing, weather dependent.
How long does the entire trip take?
The coach ride from Queenstown to Milford Sound takes about 5 hours, the cruise is up to 2 hours, and the return flight is approximately 45 minutes including an alpine landing. The total trip duration is up to 8 hours.
Is the trip suitable for children and infants?
Yes, the trip is suitable for children and infants. There are specific pricing options for children aged 0-11 years old.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my trip?
Weather conditions can affect the flight portion of the trip. Your Coach driver will liaise with Glacier Southern Lakes for the status of the flight. If the weather does not permit the flight portion, there will be space for you to return on the coach.
Is lunch included on a Coach Cruise & Helicopter flight?
You can select to include a lunch option of either the ‘To Kai’ Buffet or Picnic lunch at time of booking.
Do I need a child car seat for my child on the coach?
